Dr. Chamandeep Jassal grew up with a penchant for medical studies. She graduated with honours in 2007 from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Jassal cares for her patients, listen to their needs empathetically and seeing the smile on their face is what keeps her motivated to go to work every single day.
In 2007, Dr. Jassal moved to New Zealand and completed the Bridging Course for Overseas Dentists at Otago University in Dunedin. After successfully completing her NZDREX exams she took up a position in the private sector practising in Accident and Emergency Dental Clinic in Auckland.
Dr. Jassal moved to Australia in 2011. After practising for 6 years in a renowned clinic in Werribee, she joined Watervale Dental in 2019.
With over 12 years of experience in varied aspects of dentistry, she has continually kept abreast of the latest innovations when it comes to dentistry and has a special interest in Wisdom teeth extractions, Implants and Cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Jassal is an ardent believer in saving teeth and preventive dentistry.
She is especially interested in 'gentle dentistry'. She understands not everyone enjoys visiting the dentist and strives to make every visit as relaxing as possible.
Being a mother of 8 years old, Dr. Jassal is a strong believer of instilling good dental hygiene habits and regular dental visits from an early age. Her friendly approach, gentle and caring nature makes young, elderly and nervous patients feel very comfortable.
Dr. Jassal’s interests and passion lie in practising holistic dentistry by aiming to find the cause of a problem and not just treating the symptom. She strongly believes in preventive care to counteract major dental issues later in life.
Apart from dentistry, Dr. Jassal has a passion for music and enjoys doing art & craft with her daughter.
